Fahrenheit 11/9 is an upcoming documentary film by American filmmaker Michael Moore about the 2016 United States presidential election and the subsequent presidency of Donald Trump. The film was announced on May 16, 2017. The title of the film is a reference to the date after the election (November 9) and also a reference to Moore's documentary Fahrenheit 9/11 released in 2004.
On November 30, 2017, Michael Moore entered a legal battle with The Weinstein Company, which controls the documentary. Moore has considered taking the film to another distributor after TWC's co-founder Harvey Weinstein was allegedly exposed as a serial sexual predator. The Weinstein Company had already spent $2 million on Fahrenheit 11/9, and insists that Moore repay the studio.
